The Code 39 barcode specification is used in IDAutomation Barcode Fonts, Components and Applications to create a Code 39 barcode, which will encode numbers and uppercase letters.
- Using Code 39 Barcode Fonts with a font encoder returns text formatted to Code 39 barcode specifications.
- Using Uni_C39 with a universal barcode font encoder returns text formatted to the Universal Barcode Font a single cross-platform font (Windows, Mac, Linux and UNIX) that creates several barcode types.
- Nat_Code39 creates a “Native” barcode from pure text without requiring the installation of any additional barcode fonts or components. These options exist in the Native Generators for Access, Crystal Reports, FileMaker, JavaScript and Oracle Reports.
- The Code 39 barcode option in all Components and Applications will produce a barcode image. Additional properties that may be available with this implementation include:
- The Check Char or Check Digit property, appends a MOD 34 Checksum to the data being encoded.
- The Code 39 Ext or Extended option enables Code 39 Extended mode.
